Bad, bad. Very bad.

 

It's my FIRST day in uniform.

You must be thinking what uniform??

YES! That's the one. The floral batik top with the dull sky-sky blue blazer stubbed with gold buttons. For the bottom whilst., thank God, it's not that latern skirt. For officers, we wear navy blue businees trousers. And the other thing that differentiate us from those pax services is that we have this bright red hanky which is meant to be stuffed 9/10 nicely into our chest pocket=)

 

2nd on the list. Mr.William reported sick!!! Alamak. Luckily Precelia came over to help me. If not, I would have left to perform solo @JetStar.

 

And wow, 3K691, being the 1st flight out, the aircraft actually played on us. Poor 148passenger onboard sufferred a great 2hr delay. Of course, it's a chain effect. All flights behind that were affected.

 

Thanks to the rules for crew operation. A delay in 3K695 actually caused some of the crews to have excessive working hours and that means that they SHOULD NOT BE OPERATED. But well, who cares about rules when they were already in the sky.

 

And most irritating is the security guard bitch @Gate C11. I shall blog on her another day!!!

Slacking in the office at this moment. It's a boring Sunday morning. So bored that I'm actually surfing the net on horoscope updates..hahaz.

 

Ytday after my hectic midnite shift, went to do my airport pass. Wahh, the efficiency i too good to be believed. I got into the studio, within seconds, the photo was taken. And the making of the card and waiting time took less than 5minutes. Looking @the photo on my pass, I feel like dying~~~ And it's gonna stick with me for 3years!!!

 

But who cares lah...

 

Next wk's roster is great!!!

 

Monday is OFFday, tues-thurs are all office hrs. Friday is my RestDay. And midnight shifts for both Sat & Sun. Woohoo..it means I can catch Kinship on weekdays..!!

 

Tml's 23rd..Auntie's BIG DAY. And she'll be obviously bbq-ing @hm for sure..hahaz. And most probably in the late night, her time will be solely dedicated for Mr.Hu=)

 

 

 

 

It was 3+am when my gastric starts complaining and it directly alerted me that I should fill it with something=) But filling it does not mean that I can just ignore the feelings of my tastebuds..hahaz. 

 

I called McDelivery and wow, how kind of them to notify me that my purchase must be of a min18bucks and it'll take 1.5hrs. WTH. And the reason for being?? "Ohh, Changi Aiport is too far away.'' @#$@%@%

 

ErHmm..there's only Deli & BK @T1, 24hrs. The former ain't a good choice for in-office dining. And BK..NO WAY!!! I never like BK. And thanks to Amanda, who reminded me that Mr.M is available 24hrs too=) But I ain't sucha baddie lahz.

 

Our craving for Mac is so strong that Riani & I decided to make our way to T2. On our way back, God played prank. It started to pour. And that's the price we paid.

 

While we were munching on mac burgers, we were reflecting on our behaviour earlier on. Hahahahaz..and we actually feel that we made the right choice of insisting Mac and not giving in to BK.

The pain can be on par of being scorched by the sun. After staring like 6hrs on 3monitors filled with flight numbers, names of cabin crews, numbers, numbers & numbers...

 

I don't see stars, but numbers, NOW.

The rationale makes sense but it does not apply to me. Be it outta concern or whatever...

 

I need the trust, which is of utmost importance.

 

3 days'd passed but I stil can't find my cool.

Made my 1st step into the YWA & ABA society.

 

It's the 1st time I feel so committed in stuff and so on..

Kinda impossible.

 

It's Day5. Everything's been pretty fine in both worlds=)

 

I love my 1st job. For the past4, I went home exhausted each day, yet fulfilling and the sense of achiecvement & satisfaction is on high high high level.

 

And ohhhh, next week I gonna start the almighty shifts.

 

There were many interesting stuff that happened @work. Wednesday I received calls from jokers. Joker1 got stucked @T1(ladies just beside Delifrance) cause her zip bursted or something and asked me for help. HALLO??!! How can I help?? Within a couple of minutes, joker2 called and claimed she'd forgotten her passport. HEY!! How could you possibly miss that when you're going on a flight mission??

 

So I sent Joker2 to Joker1's rescue, assumming they're of more or less the same sizes. And wow, indeed they are. Then, I called up and activated  a CAREBEAR( aka crew on standby). Problem solved=)

 

And yesterday, Captain AhTiong radio called asking for 2 CHAIRWHEELS. My office immediately calmed into silence. Well, it's wheelchairs huhh?! After replying and turning off the radio, we all bursted into laughters. Hahahaz..funny la..

 

Actually for this job, there are 4 different missions. A special delegation for soley Jetstar & Valueair flights. That's the most hectic one. Yea, I was attached there for the 1st week and believed to be the frequent user of the 3 coms at that desk. Hafta print flightplans, weather reports and get ready the immigration cards. Update and monitor the flights departing & arriving Singapore. Inchagre of all the Jetstar crew stuff.(Include activating, helping them arrange taxi fetch, validating...) Note down every single detail of flights...(will get the info from captains through the radio).

 

The other 3 include Flight Watch, Crewing & Flight Despatch. Flight Watching requires staring on 3 com screens too=) Then, using the whatever system, type and send flight movements. And also, inform captains gate numbers, runways, etc. Crewing is the easiest. Flight Despatch-do flight plans!!! This one, I have yet to touch on it. I needa go for a 2-mth course(1 in which pilots will have to attend) which costs the company 10K. And that's the reason why breaking the bond will cost that 10K.

 

Besides having to work, studyin is a MUST too. And it's part of my work..hahaz. Decoding flightplan is fun!!! Tonnes of abbreviations printed on 30+ pages of paper. Studying the weather, reading cloud patterns, assigning air routes.........

 

Gtg, time to print flight plans. My dear Captain Geoff's gonna be here in 15minutes time=)

So busy this week, that I can't even find any free slots to come online. And yeah, I'd curbed myself to dedicate my 3-yrs work committment. I call that 3-yrs imprisonment. And wow, for my 1-yr training, it consists of classrooms lessons and job-on stuff. The former will be from 0830-1730. Oh Myyyy...

 

I'm left with a couple of days before I enter working life, or rather my new phase of study-life.

 

And @#$%@ that grp!!! U all better watch out! Left for Bintan w/o me!!! Although the reasons are relevant and I don't see any need to veto but...

 

And someone who flies here & there. It's for work and I'm expect to give in a little but...
