February 25 GoodJust some touching ups& fastening of loose ends and my Qantas & British Airways Manual will be good enough to make it's appearance.
I spent 10 days on it. Some dudes may be wondering why all the efforts & hard work? Well, it's gonna come in handy when we've got freshies in. And also, it's gonna be sent to our SATS VP. Most importantly, I'm one typical Virgo=) An extreme perfectionist I gonna call it but irrit I suppose, in the eyes of most people.
Happy to have Jing working at the airport too. Same as me. Terminal 1 Level4.
March roster's out! And I presumme life's gotta get better as March approaches. No more silent recalls. No more many many consecutive days of work. NO MORE.
Putting aside what I can rejoice over, I will be stucked @Qantas & British Airways for another month. Deep inside, I wish to move on to learn something new. No doubt the current one is challenging & full of thrills. But I don't like to stay stagnant. I hafta continue this wonderful rhythm when it's still flowing in my brains. Cause as one grows older, the absorbtion won't be as fantastic as before. It's akin to a sponge. The theory is da same. But well, it's beyond my control. Staying put is also a kinda challenge.
Before I went home this late afternoon, bumped onto Elsie Low(Qantas Duty Manager) along the corridor. And she said that she'd already brought up the 12hrs rest issue to the management. Hope that everything will go smoothly. She's nice. Really. She's concerned about our well-beings. She always look worried & frowny when she sees me ever-working..haha. I''m fine cause I'm still young.
Despite being occupied with work, my friends are still around. They always say, people come people go. I'm lucky that all those who came along, stayed with me. At least till now..=X Although the roles may be different now, it does'nt make any difference to me. Sounds crude. But that's Lala.
It's great to be alone. February 24 My weekend OFFsBeautiful weekend~~
AFter working for many mnay days, finall comes my long-anticipated break.
On Saturday, I met Zanybear early in the morning to get my insurance policy & also talked to her on some savings plan. Well, if I don't embark on any, regardless of how many yrs I gonna slog, I'll still end up with NOTHING! SO, it's good that I need a plan to tie me down!
After serious stuff, met up with Jo & Barbee for K-Lunch. We can sing..haha! And..I ordered the wrong drink (Coke+Salt). And when I was singing WoHuai NianDe~ Shi~~*BURPED* WAHAHAH! We all laughed out loud! And I could not stop burping. Mind you, it's NOT hiccups it's BURPS!
At the end of the 3odd hrs, I ended up with my severly injured vocal.
Caught up with MrChairmeh & Miss Amanda for a couple of hrs @Bugis. And I actually bought Fang DaTong's album. Ahhh...2 albums somemore. I was possessed at that moment I suppose. But it was nice to catch Mary. And had a pic with her. She was kinda amazed with Mr.CHairmeh's professional CAM.
When MAry 1st saw me...she shouted out HI!!! And then when I walked over, she lowered down & whispered,'Yanzi here meh"
And I replied,''Don't likett lahz...haha"
Before bidding goodbye, the 3 of us took some pics using Mr.Chairmeh's newly bought instant camera. The result is great! Maybe I should get one too=)
And afterthat, went to meet Dad & Mum for dinner @Pastamania & I went to Kae's house for BBG (BarbeGossip).
Reached home @sunrise and after a good 8hrs of sleep, I started my shopping trip! But before that, I went to the police post to make a report. Not theft or whatsoever, but lost IC. Hahahaz. I had enough of bringing my passport with me!! Then met my dear cousin, WeiLing & we started on our shopping spree. Anyway, my Sony Ericsson phone is well & good now, but no idea why all my contacts gonez for good. Damn it.
Now feeling exhausted. Argh...bodyache. February 19 Aiyo...Just returned from work. Well, my supposed agenda was working till 12midnight and head straight back to home, have a nice & tight sleep.
But my plan was seriously opposed. QF5 had a ground turnback past midnight. QF9 delayed till a departure of 0200LT due to reaccomodo.
Blablabla...
And and I gonna start on my 2weeks of Airshow Duty in a few hrs time. 0800-1700 daily. I have no clue of what I can contribute there. My despactch course
was delayed due to staff shortage in the office. And w/o having a despatch license..Mr.James rostered me for the airshow. Argh..I don't like to be a dumbo.
Work has been rather @#%!% recently. So bad that when something hits up, everyone will be like taking up the blame. Whatever. It's ME!!! I did that blunder!!!
Of course, those people who rightfully own those mistakes will try ways to cover their butts.
3K ain't easy $$. SATS used to stand for SIT AND TAKE SALARY. But it's benn evolved into SLAVE AND TAKE SALARY.
My average 12hrs of work a day..I guess my butt had like the privilege of no more than 4hrs to rest on the chair.
It's indeed an unhealthy job. The MOM's rule of 12hrs of stand-down is pure bullshit. It'll never happen in Sats Flight Ops. I suppose we're the only department who's experiencing this kinda black.
And I started to miss everyone, suddenly.

February 15 Better blog it b4 I 4get about itThe WanBAo event @Lunar was enjoyable, despite the fact that Auntie only appeared on stage akin to a mere passerby but bagging 2awards..the spiciest local 'ginger' & also Best Album. Spotted with her new self claimed 'BoBo' hairdo(Mind you, it's Zoe Tay that Bobo..not Edison Chen's ex tt Bobo), her face looks rounder. And no doubt, she's a professional hanger=) Dressed in black track pants(obviously 1 of 2 size(s) bigger), a huge cartoon-print white top(many said the AngGong looks like Mr.Hu..haha) with a green cardigan over and and..her Adidas shoes.
She was pretty cheerful & cheeky. The only hold back was she did'nt perform any piece. But her tortise rendition of FirstDay was cute=)
The 2 young female leads of 881 were there too. But only YanYan sang. She's a great entertainer. And we were kinda captivated...hahaz. There was at one point in which my imagination started to drift..
*We can re-use our YAN led boards..then every lunar july we'll be pretty busy rushing for her GeTai shows. And we hafta like occupy the 2nd row...(since the 1st row is reserved for the gd bros..)*

It was a fruitful trip anyway! Got to catch Christine in the queue outside Lunar. My dear orchestra junior=) Still an auntie fan after so many years.(Actually 6years not really alot lah). And finally got to see Jason after his makeover but he'd mistaken that I was kinda unhappy to see him. Well, I look so fierce & unfriendly meh?! YESH.
After the event, we went to LouHei @one of the restaurants along smelly river. The salmon was TASTELESS. The food...so-so lo. But it was fun. The angmohs were fascinated and amazed when our chopsticks were in action. It was a complete mess..I gotta admit. But very sweet of that 2 angmoh ladies who learnt from the Cheena waitress on howta say Happy New Year in chinese. When they were about to leave, they came up to us and greeted..''Sheng Lang Kuai Lo"...ehhh sounded more like @$^#&..lolx!!! But the thoughts were deep. And we sensed it.
