November 27 ByeBye to IdolismSomething suddenly appeared on my mind; what the hell have I been accomplishing for the past 6 years? Nothing. I had actually rinsed 6 long years down the drain. I wanna do something be different. Things that any Tom, Dick or Harry have never had that on their minds. Something that upon accomplishment, even me myself will be wowed. I'd thought it over. Idolism is definitely not for me. I did not regret. I did not. I gained alot, but also lost alot too. What's all about going gaga over someone whom you know but the person does not even know your existence?? Well, even if the person knows you by the name?? Collecting every single related article with all your might seems so stupid now, for me. Those screams, those happiness, those tears, those excitments, those anticipations, I'll always remember. But for the future, I wanna something else. Just something else. No one does not know about my craze for Yanzi. But, I'm kinda tired of being a fan. Quite pointless. The passion, the love are still there, and will be there forever, that's what I'm very sure of. But, the way/method gonna be changed. From a fanatic 'screamer' to a passive listener. From 1 copy of every single version of an album to 1 copy per albm. From an every possible events also died-die-must-go to can-go-then-go. Will that be better?? I don't have any answer for that. But I gonna give it a try. At least 2 tries=) I gonna admit that, what I'd lost is greater that what I'd gained, in fact. What I'd said, is not to affect anyone or anything. Just pure thoughts and decision of lala. Anyway peeps, you guys are certainly aware of the 'treasures' I have. Many will be on auction. Do check out the forum yea. All proceeds will go to charity. It'll be a wonderful Christmas gift for the needy=) Lala had grown up. So proud to say that.
November 20 Monday Bluez??I doubt so. Business was so freaking good today. It was like any Sunday. Off today but had to do part-time=( 0930-1630. I abhor doing opening, seriously. Especially cakes-related stuff!!!!
However, today was an exception. Maybe becuase Sharon was around. She's fast!!! Before 1000, she'd done wit stuff at the cake counter, and even barrista thingy. I just had to do some simple cleaning and made the trip to the bank.
8K this time round. There's this road that I've to cross, to reach the bank. Any motorcyclist can simply snatch the folder in my hands and speed off and that's fullstop! But thanks to God, I was not robbed. at least for today.
As usual, the lao zabos came to Paragon today for their respective high-tea sessions. And they never fail to molest my hands..haha.
I smiled alot today, don't know why. Perhaps, everything was rather smooth. And real OFFDAY tml!!!!!!!! Worth anticipating. Vomit dao~~It was meant to be an eventful Saturday. Work ending @1730, visiting the night safari with Kyill and then meeting Gemaine and the 38s for a chat after that. But well, the end of my work commenced the end of the weekend.
I had been vomiting and working, working and vomiting, vomitting vomitting and working working, working wokring and vomitting vomitting...
It was a tough day and I was obviously unfit to work. But who cared anyway? At least my friends did=)
Hong came down to visit me in the afternoon, asked whether I would like a drink. I rejected her offer, explained that I ain't feeling that well. So sweet of her to buy me a packet of gummy fruits. Although not my favorite gummy BEARS but they stil belong to the same gummy family huh?!
Then in late afternoon, Lin,Dor and Deni dropped by. Very heartwarming..haha!
At 1750 SHARP, I punched my card and fled. Surprised to see Kyill at the entrance of Paragon. Thanks ya, if it not had been you, I might have fainted on my way home.
Paragon is just a stone away from Mount.E. Hmmm...does that make it a not very clean place too?? I wonder~ I'm weak in nature nd my health had worsened since I started my attachment there. God bless=)

However, I was rather disappointed with the food and service. Firstly, I was not informed that mussels and vongole are not available. And stupid me to order seafood pasta and when the dish arrived to realize that it's only topped with ONLY prawns and squids. The tomato sauce was pretty bad. Think the chef added 1/2 scoop of tomato puree instead of 1.5. Tasteless!!
Also, we ordered an otah bruchetta and ham/bacon penne in pink sauce. Both equally bad. The bruchetta was obviously take out of the oven when it was not supposed to be. The latter was soupy. Arghhhh.
Luckily, the warm chocolate was up to standard and it actually saved the day=)
Today, after working from 1100-1700, I was asked to work partime @Vivo's from 1800-2300.
Nahzzz, I really don't like the place. Be it, dining or working.
The staff there are rather slack. Unlike @Paragon, we all are rather diligent and helpful. We back-up one another and there is alot of team-work. People @Vivo, turn deaf ears to their team-leader. That's very bad.
They are vey experienced, had started working part-time when the first Bakerzin was opened 5years ago. Being too experienced ain;t a good ting as well.
Their attitude and care towards guests are not excellent. They can simply dump 1 plate of seafod pasta on guest's table, without a side plae to put the shells. The barrista ain't good either. I saw countless "heartless" cappucinos, lattes and hot chocolates.
For mago passion sorbet freeze, 3 pieces of mint leaves are exected to rise from the mango sorbet. However, the bar person actually made one w/o any mint leaves. I enquired and yet he said it's okay. Well, I heard from someone that he was just too lazy to pluck mintleaves. What the hell.
They had ran out of lavender syrup so it was imposible to take orders for lavnder violet lime and strawbrry lavender lime. However, one of ther servers forgt about that, or simply did'nt check out the NA list, actually took an order of strawberry lavender lime. And when she got to know about lavender syrup's absence, she found it a hassle to ask the guest to change order. And she and the bar0guy actually replaced the lavender syrup with blueberry syrup. NONSENSE!
I could not stand working with them. No way am I gonna be @Vivo's outlet, dining or working. I abhor that place.
November 13 BAD hair dayIt was bad. Really bad.
I did opening today, and was given this hefty responsibility to open the door. Was supposed to start work @0930 but it was my 2nd time doing opening and with addition of that responsibility I reached there at a freaking 0830.
Went to grab a packet of Nasi lemak @Kovan and I remembered very clearly that I told the auntie I want MORE chili. An gues what? I did'nt see any trace of redness=) Arghh..it was sucha rare breakfast meal for me and yet it lost its perfectness simply because of the absene of chili!!!
When I reached Bakerzin, OMG!! The christmas decor on both the cake displays were on the floor. And the display set of christmas log cakes had amazingly exhaled some kindawater vapour or something to create that white christmas feel, there was even a puddle of water on the floor.
Dian did opening with me and I had to the tedious task of all; display the cakes. I really hate that. A cake counter supposedly maximum capacity of 100% had to be 95% filled with cakes.
And yea, ths stupid metal tray actuall toppled over for no reason and 3 foret noir (Black Forest Cakes) landed on the floor.
That was bad enough but the lavande(triangular chocolat mousse cake with chocolate sauce at the outer) added on to my misfortune. It was never easy to handle cakes with no plastic wrap over it. And the reason for hy there's no plastic wrap is simply because of the chocolate sauce coating.
And well well well, 6 lavandes ruined by lala=) It can be touched up, of course. Ain't that bad afterall.
Finally, the resataurant was opened for the day. Seriously speaking, 8 out of 10 were horrible. I abhor LaoZaBos!!!!!!!! I condemn them!!!!
Luckily @2, i could leave the place for HeadQuarters. What brand training thingy...
The presentation was boring. The skinhead presenter kept repeating to reinforce Bakerzin's vison, positioning strategy, mission statement and goals. The repeat was so unbearable. He actually picked people to answer questions and those with satisfactory answers were given 5bux Bakerzin vouchers. I got 3 of that.
Dinner made me happy. Laughters. But I'll be happier if you-know-who get me that XXX. Yea??? Whahahaz..X'mas coming~

Guest: But I ordered it before I had my meal.
(Come on lehz..even if you order it the day before, it'll still take 15min to bake. Cause, we only put it into the oven when you gonna have it and serve it straight from the oven!!)

November 09 The New GuyI was anticipating this new guy. His first day of work @Paragon. Well, it turned out to be real disappointment when I first saw him. I'm mean, I know. But, that's what makes lala lala.
He's a chinese. A true chinese from mainland china=) A descendent of the dragon=)
People who knows me deep enough will understand my attitude towards true chinese.
4-eyed, fair, ain't tall, sloppish, skinny...
Sharon(supervisor), Dian(Indo trainee) and me nearly died..hahaz. Sharon simply gave up on him, that's what I can say.
This fella is really WOLS. And I don't know whether he understands english.

November 06 AYE! LALA...It was a boring afternoon. The crowd was slow. And to my surprise, AhBen came to visit me. He's working @Paragon too, @Muji. Well, he's still as before. Jut like a little sister to me..haha!
Within minutes, te crowd started to flow in. And I really mean it! The 1.5hrs war started @6pm. And then finally I got to have my lunch. As usual, I hid in a corner of the kitchen, listening to 883 and enjoying my food at the same time. Well, i would prefer 933 but...
As the first ring of spaghetti was about to enter my mouth....

I went to fetch some cutlery and transfer it to station2. As I was unloading the forks, someone poked on my left shoulder,''AYE! Lala..."
I turnd back and OH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think my face turned green at that very moment. Her face was right infront of me.
I left out an awkward smile, "HAllo~~~~"
She gave a few gentle yet firm pats on my left shoulder,''I'm going to the ladies now, bye~ See you.."
She had her hair tied up, as usual. But very differently this time round. It was STYLISH..hahaz..!! She was wearing a white dress. The top was somthing like a razor back, showing off her flawless back and the bottom was roughly 3inches above knee-length and abit flared. GORGEOUS!!!!!
She was with a gu. A tanned and macho guy. AhBen said the guy was alright. Not too bad, in my opinion. Muchhhhhhhh more handsome
than NiNi=)
Most importantly, her make-up was beautifully done. Hahahahaahz..

November 03 Zao An Ning Hao!!!!A morning call @7am this morning. All thanks to Amanda. I sincerely thank you..haha!
It's been years since I watch Zao An Ning Hao.
I wrapped myself in my comforter and brought along my pillow to the living room.
Let's have a rundown of the show. Hahahaz. 1st on the headlines was on Mr.Nathan. It was the 1st time I see him delivering a speech. Looking at him, it reminded me of someone. But I cant even vividly recall it now as I was on half-sleep mode this morning.
Mr.Nathan mentioned about balancing the difference of income of Singaporeans. The rich should extend helping hands to the poor. Well said. At this moment, the rich people are getting richer and the poor people are getting poorer. It's an unhealthy state.
And also, he talked about staying competitive in the world. Singapore had been ranked first in the recent Most Competitive Country and he hopes that we will continue to do so through creativity and innovation.
Okay..enough of Mathan. Let's get down to something serious..hahaz. The main purpose of why I jeopardized my precious sleeping time and forced myself to pry open my eyes at such hour.
They reported on GCMA06!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ehh..quite short though.
And they actually cut out all the segments of which the presenters prould announced SUNYANZI as the winner. That was fantastic. 5times!!!! Wahahaz. Well, she won 5 awards what. They did the same for Andy Lau. And I realized that all 5 presenters who announced his name, are the same. So coincidently that they won awards of the same categories.
There was a short interview on Ahzi. Ahe said that she has been growing all these years......and I can't remember what else she said!!! Whaahahz. My focus was on her face. That night's makeup was pretty good=) |
